DK Knokke is a modernist residence in Belgium. Atelier10.8 seeks to express the client's desire to create a comfortable and warm home environment through the atmosphere and exquisite details of the space. The use of natural materials with warm tones inside presents a different sense of vitality and tranquility.

A minimalist apartment, Atelier10.8 was commissioned by the owner to complete the renovation. The original balconies were redesigned and arranged so that the various Spaces in the interior flow and blend with each other. The combination of sofa area and restaurant makes the compact space scale fully used and effectively expanded, and the wood work in the space in the simple and concise space dizzy with a naturalistic style.

新建的复式住宅位于一处风景优美、没有建造限制的地方，其建筑、景观、室内都是由业主与Atelier10.8共同协作完成。设计灵感来自于一次哥本哈根之旅，在那里他们了解了60年代的建筑形式与风格，并将其应用于住宅的建筑设计当中，使其充满了年代感和故事性。另外，内部陈设呈现出的温暖感，非常契合当地的气候条件。
The new duplex is located in a scenic, built-free location. The architecture, landscape and interior of the duplex were completed in collaboration with Atelier10.8. The design was inspired by a trip to Copenhagen, where they learned about the architectural forms and styles of the 60s and applied them to the architecture of the house, making it full of time and story. In addition, the interior furnishings presented a warm feeling, very suitable for the local climate conditions.

这是一座为一户年轻家庭在原先谷仓的基础上扩建而来的双层住宅，并向原建筑留下的历史痕迹表示致敬。新建的部分包括了厨房、家庭活动室、洗衣房和车库；而旧谷仓则规划了入口、办公室、餐厅和客厅，有着隐私性需求的卧室均布置于二层。每个房间都使用了通高玻璃，配合着柔和的灰色薄纱，可以一览室外秀丽的乡村景色。
The two-storey house is an extension of the original barn for a young family and pays homage to the legacy of the original building. The new addition includes a kitchen, family room, laundry room and garage; The old barn houses the entrance, office, dining room and living room, while bedrooms with privacy requirements are placed on the second floor. Full-height glass in each room, paired with soft grey tulle, offers stunning views of the countryside.
