Momaz is imaged as a monochromatic mirage celebrating tactility of materiality through a sculptural assemblage. Walled away from the busy mall, the expression of bold geometric forms creates a sense of escape.

室内空间以黄色石灰华板为铺装,地面挤出的体块形成的桌椅围合着拉丝镜面为材料的吧台。吧台的形状源于商场规定的设计限制:吧台的背面必须隐藏于顾客视线之外。从平面上看,吧台的背面有一个尖锐角度,前面有一个倒曲线,不但实现了功能和形式的平衡,同时也对顾客展现了开放的邀请姿态。
Slabs of yellow travertine are laid on the floor where extruded masses provide seating oriented to embrace the brushed mirrored bar. The shape of the bar stemmed from the mall’s design limitations, where it was mandatory that the back of the bar was hidden away from customers. In plan, the bar has a sharp obtuse angle at the back and an inverted curve at the front, allowing a balance of function and form, yet remaining inviting to customers.

咖啡店的外立面并不具有很强的辨识度,这是一种有意而为的态度,可以追溯到咖啡店的品牌价值观:Momaz将自己定位为一个体验导向的品牌,而不是一家咖啡店。
The shop cannot properly be deciphered from the façade, which was an intentional gesture that goes back to the brand’s values, where Momaz identifies itself more as an experience- oriented brand than a coffee shop.
