Two proud houses made of bold and straight-line features proudly take over the prestigious property in Melbourne's Armadale Horsburg Grove. The houses are aptly named Armadale Residence and are designed by Mim Design and Conrad Architects-Conrad Architects is responsible for the construction, while Mim Design is responsible for overseeing the interior design. The team worked with BCG Constructions to build a minimalist house with classical architecture as a reference-giving the concept of living in this house a class and style.

The entrance starts from a corridor, guiding visitors from the relatively private area to the open kitchen and the restaurant at the back-enjoying the landscape designed by Paul Bangay Garden Design. At the same time, the resting place is reserved on the upper floor, with access to a spacious balcony
with large operable shutters, which can be opened or closed at will.

Different from its neighbors, the facade of the newly built house is a linear form made of limestone, extracting the linear volume to show the door frame pattern, increasing the depth of the facade. Limestone and ebony steel are used for garage doors, window frames, planting boxes and railings of different thicknesses to further highlight the contours of Conrad Construction’s iconic residences.
