两河流域在西方远古时期就孕育出人类最早的文明，开启了西方文化的篇章。傍水而居，是自然的趋使，也成为各朝历代兵家争夺的宝地。重庆来福士处于朝天门两江相会之绝对独特之地，登高远望，其野心与气度，将景致尽收眼底。
Mesopotamia, the site where the oldest trace of human civilization existed, bred the western culture in the early period of human history. Accordingly, nature guided humans to reside near the river, but at the same time, such locations were also what men waged wars for. Raffles City Chongqing is located at the confluence of the rivers in Chaotianmen, where the Yangtze River joins the Jialing river. Therefore, it shares characteristics with such historical sites: possessing the most magnificent views and profound cultural heritage.
《兰亭序》：「是日也，天朗气清，惠风和畅。仰观宇宙之大，俯察品类之盛，所以游目骋怀，足以极视听之娱，信可乐也」记录下那一场兰亭风雅之集会，时至今日“曲水流觞”，“咏诗论文”，“饮酒赏景”，蔚为佳话。以「客」为主，当代风雅人士的聚会，会有怎样的风景？
In “Lanting Xu”, Wang Xizhi has written that “As for this day, the sky is clear and the air is fresh; the mild breeze greets us. I look up at the immense universe. I look down at myriad works. As our eyes wander, so do our minds too. Indeed, it is a pure delight for all our senses.”, describing the artists’ salon held for idea exchange and knowledge sharing in ancient China. Up to today, we still aspire to the active intellectual lifestyle adopted by our forebears: playing music, reciting poems, critiquing articles, drinking wine, and enjoying nature with close friends. Employing the oriental concept of focusing on the guests instead of the host, what will the contemporary version of an inspiring gathering look like?
立体枯山水Three-dimensional dry landscape garden
在重庆来福士T3N朝天阁会客间里，大面积的敞开公共空间“迎客”，“主”为辅，从玄关入室后迎来大面积的开敞，通透、雅致，将江景尽收眼底，而大山大水浓缩在「立体枯山水」中，中国人的雅致乐趣与当代高楼互相辉映。
In Raffles City Chongqing T3N “One Altitude” Residential Showflat, the spacious common space is designed to put greeting guests as the priority of the space function. After guests pass through the entrance, an open area with a splendid river view greets them. The "Three-dimensional dry landscape garden", reflects the traditional hobby in the Chinese lifestyle, but we transform that in a modern way to respond to the skyscrapers.
当代东方生活并非复制，而是接纳，如两江相会，东西皆宜。可以茶会友，也可以以红酒佳肴宴客，圆桌赋予了老祖宗饮食皆平等的智慧，而敞开的厨房则是多了交流的机会。
Modern oriental lifestyle is not copying what the old did but instead is about being more inclusive. Like how the rivers join into one, the new lifestyle is also colored with some influences from the western culture. While greeting guests with tea is a ritual embedded in Chinese culture, we also enjoying wine-tasting in all kinds of activities. While the idea of sharing food is rooted in our habit of dinning on a round table, the western style open kitchen is another way of deepening communication.
空间的切割里，开放的书墙连结了空间的律动，多元了赋予空间的功能用度，最大化的将“景”、“光”引入了室内，当宾客盈门之际，热络交流，共享风雅之气。归于平静之余，尽享片刻静腻之景，动静皆宜。When dividing the space, an open wall bookshelf stimulates the rhythm of the space, widens the range of space usage, and introduces the best view and light source into the room. Sharing the same space, guests will likely find the conversations become more flowing. In the end, the guest can still enjoy a relaxing moment brought about by the peaceful design, even as the room is designed to be dynamic.
