Founder JoshuaAidlin is a young architect who graduated from the university of Cincinnati inOhio in 1988 and has been in the design business for more than 30 years. JoshuaAidlin inherited a set of woodworking tools and machinery from his father,sculptor Jerome Aidlin. In the process, they learned to think about design as asensory art, one in which the way something feels, smells, and sounds meansjust as much as its visual impact.
David Darling在机缘巧合之下，与Joshua Aidlin在辛辛那提大学相识，俩人出生日期只相差了6天。在他们32岁那年，他们决定共同成立工作室。David Darling拥有超过26年的建筑、室内设计、景观设计和家具设计经验。
By chance,David Darling and Joshua Aidlin met at the university of Cincinnati, only sixdays apart. At the age of 32, they decided to set up a studio together. Mr.Darling brings over twenty-six years of design experience in architecture,interiors, landscapes and furniture.

They include a contemplative art chapelat Stanford University, a media arts cultural center, a college preparatoryhigh school, a rural gallery and performing arts facility, several restaurants,and four wineries in Northern California that push the boundaries ofsustainability in agriculture and building.
