Studio DiDeA设计改造了巴勒莫（Palermo）一间位于公寓楼底层的住宅，这栋公寓楼可以追溯到70年代，拥有俯瞰Parco della Favorita的景观视角。业主夫妇希望能够将这里改造为一栋高效率的公寓，内部拥有足够的存贮空间和更现代化的风格。设计师遵循业主要求对公寓进行改造，让居住空间更加通透明亮、布局更加合理。
▼室内入口空间，the entrance corridor ©Serena Eller 公寓原本是一种典型的七十年代家庭布局：一条中央走廊连接内部不同的房间。设计师拆除了内部所有的隔墙，将起居空间布置在公寓前方，休息空间布置在后方，中央是服务空间。起居空间特别注重利用东西两侧窗户的自然光线。进入室内后是一个开放的空间，厨房位于左侧，起居室和餐厅位于右侧。在需要的时候，厨房可以通过一道煤烟色滑动玻璃门封闭起来。
