这所房子位于上海临港，是一个一楼复地下室的住宅。我们精心规划了适用于学习、阅读、放松、健身的多重功能空间，为这个三代同堂、五口一猫之家，打造了一个充满温情、休闲宜居的住所。
Located in Lingang, Shanghai, this house is a one-story home with a basement. We carefully planned multiple functional spaces suitable for study, reading, relaxation, and fitness, creating a warm, relaxing, and livable residence for this three-generation, five-member, one-cat family.

整个地下室仅靠唯一的天井采光，因此，我们将楼梯的位置改到了离采光井较远的暗区中心位置，而楼梯洞口在不影响一楼正常起居的情况下尽可能地大，以更好地改善地下室的采光通风。
The whole basement relies on the only patio for light, so we changed the location of the staircase to the center of the dark area, which is farther away from the light well, and the opening of the staircase is as large as possible without affecting the normal living on the first floor, to improve the lighting and ventilation in the basement.

地下室和一楼入户进门正对便是改造之后的楼梯，吊顶的细致设计和楼梯造型都更好地增加了这个竖向交通的仪式感和趣味性。
The basement and first-floor entry doors face the remodeled staircase, and the detailed design of the ceiling and the shape of the staircase add a sense of ceremony and interest to this vertical traffic.

原楼梯洞口并没有封上，而是在一楼用木质格栅盖住作为通风井，这个木格栅盒子同时也是一个大板凳，可坐可躺。
Instead of filling in the original stairway opening, the first floor is covered with a wooden grille that serves as a ventilation shaft, and the grille box also serves as a large bench for seating and reclining.

地下室天井处，是日式传统的榻榻米和雪见窗。雪见窗由桧木和障子纸组成，雪见窗的窗扇可以上下和左右移动，在室内外之间形成多种框景。光线通过天井坠入这个空间，再穿越雪见窗投射出迷人的图案，温暖而深邃的宁静氛围让人和猫都沉浸其中。
In the basement patio, there are traditional Japanese tatami mats and Yukimi windows. Made of hinoki wood and paper baffles, the sashes of the Yukimi windows can be moved up and down, left and right, creating a variety of frames between indoors and outdoors. Light falls into the space through the patio, and through the Yukimi windows it casts fascinating patterns, creating a warm, deep, and peaceful atmosphere for both humans and cats to enjoy.

北侧的中厨，拥有窗外郁郁葱葱的绿色风景，几片大玻璃移门可开可合，南北向的通透感并没有被打断。白色和原木的基调营造了全屋轻盈、平和的氛围。
The center kitchen on the north side has a lush green landscape outside the window, and several large glass sliding doors can be opened and closed, so the north-south permeability is not interrupted. The white and log tone creates a light and calm atmosphere throughout the house.

健身区位于地下室的最东侧。健身区与客厅之间是一面洞洞墙，大小不一的洞口，映射了两个区域之间自然产生的明暗光景。爸爸和孩子经常在这里打乒乓球，这面墙也有效阻挡了乒乓球到处乱飞。更有趣的是，家里的猫猫特别喜欢趴在这些洞口，探头观察在不同区域活动的家人们。
The fitness area is located on the far east side of the basement. Between the fitness area and the living room is a cavernous wall, with holes of varying sizes, mapping the light and darkness that naturally occurs between the two areas. Dad and the kids often play ping-pong here, and the wall effectively blocks the ping-pong balls from flying around. What’s more interesting is that our cat likes to lie down in these holes to observe our family members in different areas.
