Spanish architecture firm Studio Andrew Trotter, founded by founder Andrew Trotter in 2010. Mainly provides architectural, interior, product and related design consulting services. The studio hopes to present an exclusive elegant style through the appropriate and delicate use of materials and subjective construction, and to intervene in daily life in a reasonable design way.

这座具有Masseria的风格特征，又有着小体量的别墅建筑并不常见。虽然它体积不大，却有着浓郁的历史之美。这座像宝石一般的建筑，在20世纪60年代初被遗弃，它最初是一所女子学校，承载着当地人的美好记忆。现在，Andrew Trotter让它重新焕发了新的活力。
The small size of this Masseria villa is not common. Despite its small size, it has a rich historical beauty. This gem of a building, abandoned in the early 1960s, was originally a girls' school and carries fond memories of the locals. Now, Andrew Trotter has given it a new lease of life.
Andrew Trotter尽可能的、在条件允许的情况下保留了其古色古香的外部形态。刮掉那些因历经岁月而开始剥落的油漆，门廊上原始的石头裸露了出来。工匠们重新涂抹了内部立面，而所有的旧石头都被重新修补、更换。房子的尾端增加了两个新的区块，楼下规划了两个套间，而楼上的空间则被布置为主人的独立套房。
Andrew Trotter preserved his antique exterior form as much as possible. Scraping away paint that had begun to peel over time revealed the original stone on the porch. Craftsmen repainted the interior facade and all the old stones were retouched and replaced. Two new blocks were added to the end of the house, with two suites planned downstairs and a separate suite for the owner of the upstairs space.

Casa Maiora住宅的设计，是Andrew Trotter工作室首次摆脱普利亚地区典型的白色拱顶建筑特征的尝试。他们将目光转向海滨别墅独有的形体特征，有着宏伟的柱廊和用当地工匠制作的石灰水涂抹的泥土色墙面，呈现了一种与众不同的历史痕迹和人文情感。
The Casa Maiora house is Andrew Trotter's first attempt to move away from the white vaulted roofs that are typical of Puglia. They turned their attention to the unique physical features of the beach house, with its grand colonnade and earthy walls painted with lime water made by local artisans, presenting a distinctive historical and human touch.

Located on the southern boundary of the site, the house takes advantage of its elevation and offers the best views of the sea, a stone's throw from the sea. The east-west views to the north and south mean that the house is as beautiful in winter as it is in summer. The large balcony is wrapped in thick rattan, providing ample shade for the residents, making it a pleasant place to relax, eat or take a nap.
