在接触到每个不同的项目时，都会自然而然的想去了解当地的艺术与文化。而将这些文化与艺术变成一个真实且让人可参观、能进入其中、可以触摸的空间。

accessible space that people can visit, enter, and touch.

这对于室内设计是非常有意思的一件事情。

嘉鱼，以鱼命名，出自《诗经.小雅.南有嘉鱼》。嘉鱼地属咸宁，“咸”全部也，意为全天下安宁。然而苏派建筑园林的安宁、静谧、隽永。二者之间似乎也有这些许微妙的关联。

游走于一个现代人所需的功能空间，我们不想把太多符号化的元素东西放到室内。带着这样的思考，留园的考察给了我们太多的启发。

“游走于宁谧”这种动与静看似相悖的二者，恰好是游走于留园时给我们带来的真切感受。变化无穷的建筑空间，藏露互引，疏密有致，虚实相间，旷奥自如。这种空间上收放自如的精妙，我们贪婪的用到了项目空间的规划中。在空间上是一种传承的话，那麽在形态上是一种破立，在意识上达到一种融汇。

"Walking in tranquility" seems to be contrary to the dynamic and static, which is exactly the real feeling we get when we walk in the garden. The ever-changing architectural space is characterized by the mutual attraction of hidden and exposed, the density, the alternation of virtual and real, and the freedom of being broad and abstruse. 连结过厅与沙盘区的廊道，从无到有、从外到内，跟建筑设计不断反复推敲，纳入室内的廊道呈现了空间的节奏舒缓，也能将二进院内美景尽收。

当发现屋脊不在空间中，这在传统建筑中难以容忍。构架是中国古典木结构建筑最重要的组成部分。在传统建筑体系里，它并没有被隐藏，重点部位反而被刻画强调，直观地表现在外观上。原始的建筑空间留给我们的不对称性，在带来困惑的同时也带来更多的思考。

留白是基于对“苏派”的粉牆黛瓦的再现，同时留白也是我们传统艺术较为推崇的艺术手法。以“空白”为载体进而渲染出美的意境，是一种具有想像的空间的艺术，因观者不同而幻化万千。这样的白，能更好的去承载空间中美好的事物。
