On March 31, 2016, world architect Zaha Hadid died in Miami, USA at the age of 65. After her death, her relics have also been completed, and at the same time all new architectural works will be raised in China. Unicorn Island Chengdu

成都独角兽岛是全球首个独角兽岛，规划面积1006亩，总建筑面积约145万平方米，整个项目预计于2022年全面建成。独角兽岛是高绩效创新公司的新中心，在四川，东部与西部相遇，创造了一个独特的增长中心。该岛上有许多建筑物，沿着龙泉山脊和兴隆湖的天际线生长。建筑物之间的高度和间隙的调节使周围的自然和谐地融合在一起，相互赞美和强调。
Chengdu Unicorn Island is the world's first unicorn island, with a planned area of 1,006 acres and a total construction area of approximately 1.45 million square meters. The entire project is expected to be completed in 2022. Unicorn Island is the new centre for high performing innovation companies, a point in Sichuan where East meets W est to create a unique hub for growth. The island is populated by clusters of buildings, growing along the skyline of the Longquan mountain ridge and the Xinglong lake. The modulation in height and gaps between the buildings allow a harmonious cohesion with the surrounding nature, celebrating and emphasising it.
Zaha Hadid建筑事务所以“融会贯通”、创造“新领地”来描述项目的总体规划理念，设计图上，或圆形或椭圆的建筑就像一片片荷叶，负责人表示，“总体规划的灵感来自兴隆湖及周边的环境”，以一系列交互式的“荷叶”或“圆形细胞体”体现聚集之意，试图以此概念的灵活满足未来独角兽岛的扩张及不同需求。
Zaha Hadid Architects described the overall planning concept of the project as “integration” and “new territory”. The design, or the circular or oval building, is like a lotus leaf. "Xinglong Lake and the surrounding environment" embodies the meaning of gathering with a series of interactive "lotus leaves" or "round cell bodies", trying to use this concept to flexibly meet the future expansion of Unicorn Island and different needs.

Zaha Hadid Architects has revealed its proposal for four interconnected towers in Shenzhen, China, which will contain the open-plan headquarters for OPPO. Set to break ground later this year, the amorphous OPPO headquarters is to accommodate the continual growth of the company dubbed as China's leading smartphone manufacturer.

The headquarters will measure 185,000-square-metres, and in a bid to echo the company's "commitment to connectivity", it will contain a number of large atriums surrounded by light-filled open-plan offices.

The 167,000 sq. m. Guangzhou Infinitus Plaza designed by Zaha Hadid Architects will be a campus of integrated buildings that combine intelligent technologies and environmental sustainability, comprising key facilities for the group including a new global center for R&D a Chinese herbal medicine research and safety assessment center; as well as an exhibition center and gallery. It will serve as the new headquarters of Infinitus China, a member of LKKHPG. The overall investment in the project will reach RMB 4.5 billion (approx. US$659 million), and the construction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2020.

Located on Leeza Road in southwest Beijing, Leeza Soho tower anchors the new Fengtai business district. Leeza Soho is a landmark anchor point in the Fengtai business district. It is the fourth joint project between Zaha Hadid architects and Soho China, with 1.4 million square meters of flexible and efficient office and retail space.

Leeza Soho connects all the Spaces in the building and offers different views to visitors and users due to its distorted sculptural form. As the building straddles the subway tunnel, the designers integrate the building into two halves of a facade. The atrium is the highest in the world at 194.15 meters. The rotation of the atrium allows the two halves to interweave, like a dynamic duet.

The new Culture & Arts Centre by Zaha Hadid Architects incorporates a contemporary art museum (MICA), a 1,800-seat theatre with supporting facilities and a multipurpose hall. Totaling 115,000 sq.m, these three civic institutions are uniquely defined and separate, yet complement each other with different opening times creating vitality throughout the day and evening. The theatre becomes active as the art museum begins to conclude its day-time operations, whilst the variety of events in the smaller theatre ensures it will be used at all times.

With the normal opening of the contemporary art gallery, the art center has gradually acquired its proper vitality and spirit. While the art gallery is open, the small theatre meets the needs of the activity space in various periods. By reference to the pedestrian circulation around the site, the building is connected to the nearby community in an organic way.

Beijing Daxing International Airport is a new airport in the Daxing district 46km south of the city centre (20 minutes by express train). Developed to alleviate congestion at the capital’s existing airport, Beijing Daxing will be a major transport hub for the region with the world’s fastest-growing demand for international travel and is fully integrated within the country’s expanding transport network.
大兴机场在设计上还对中国传统建筑的环绕式空间形态做出了一定的回应与借鉴。航站楼中央的多层中庭空间将大量游客导向相应的出发、到达和换乘区域。建筑师还安装了光伏发电装置，发电量至少可达10MW。而机场的热能则主要源于余热回收，复合地源热泵系统可集中支持250万平方米的供热面积。
Echoing principles within traditional Chinese architecture that organise interconnected spaces around a central courtyard, the terminal’s design guides all passengers seamlessly through the relevant departure, arrival or transfer zones towards the grand courtyard at its centre – a multi-layered meeting space at the heart of the terminal. Photovoltaic power generation is installed by architects throughout the airport to provide a minimum capacity of at least 10MW. Beijing Daxing's centralised heating with waste heat recovery is supported by a composite ground-source heat pump system incorporating a concentrated energy supply area of nearly 2.5 million ㎡.
International Youth Cultural Centre

南京国际青年文化中心位于南京新商务中心（CBD）河西新城江边。此项目包括10.65万平方米的会议中心，两座总面积25.85万平方米的塔楼，10万平方米地下空间和 CBD 主轴终点的广场。总体规划表达了河西新城城市环境、滨江绿地与江心洲岛乡村景观之间的连续性和连通性，江心洲岛位于长江上，由人行天桥连接。
The Nanjing International Youth Cultural Centre is located on the river in Hexi New Town; Nanjing’s new central business district (CBD). The project includes a 106,500 m2 conference centre, two towers totaling 258,500 m2 , 100,000 m2 of basement areas and the plaza that terminates the CBDs main axis on the riverfront. The masterplan expresses the continuity and connectivity between the urban environment of Hexi New Town, riverside parkland, and the rural landscapes of Jiangxinzhou Island in the Yangtzer River connected by a pedestrian bridge.
南京国际青年文化中心占地面积5.2公顷，建筑面积46.5万平方米。两座塔楼中较高的是315米（68层），包括办公楼和 Jumeirah 酒店。较低的塔高255米（59层），另有一家四星级酒店。两座塔楼共用一个五层的多功能裙房，容纳了文化中心。它是扎哈·哈迪德建筑师事务所迄今为止建成的最高建筑。
The Nanjing International Youth Cultural Centre occupies a site area of 5.2 hectares with a construction floor space of 465,000 square metres. The taller of the two towers is 315 metres/68 floors high and contains office floors and the Jumeirah Hotel. The shorter tower is 255 metres/59 oors in height and houses a further 4-star hotel. The two towers share a five-level, mixed-use podium that houses the Cultural Centre, which is the tallest building ever built by Zaha Hadid architects.
