PICO has been a true labour of love. Originally built in 1916, Georgina and her partner Troy have given this quaint, weatherboard home in Lorne a new lease on life. Calling on Georgina’s profession and love of design along with Troy’s building background and landscaping knowledge, they transformed this 100-year-old plus house into a seaside haven filled with a mix of contemporary and curated vintage pieces to create a lived in and honest interior.
打造一个不仅功能齐全，而且还能彰显传统细节并营造框景的家庭住宅，将室外景观引入室内，这一点不可或缺。在树木和郁郁葱葱的绿植掩映下，设计任务的核心是打开现有布局，重新规划空间，为厨房和家庭活动室吸引光线，营造开阔感，同时保持住宅的神圣感。
It was integral to create a family home which was not only functional but that also celebrated the heritage details and created framed views - bringing the outside in. Emersed in trees and lush greenery, the brief was centered around opening up the existing layout and re-planning the spaces to attract light and a feeling of openness to the kitchen and family rooms, whilst honouring the sanctuary-like feel of the home.

As with all of Georgina’s projects, a lot of joy is taken from the bespoke nature of the fixtures and fittings. Collaborating with joiners, metal workers, artisans and craftspeople to create individual, crafted pieces to reflect her design sensibility.
