我们第一次
来尝试设计一个泰式风味的餐厅
由于得天独厚的院落式商铺
使得东南亚风情的性格
可以自然流露出来
The idea is to shape this courtyard
in such a way that itreflects plants
in tropical landscapes, open
and capacious pavilions of SouthAsia,
and a bright color scheme
that represents the Thai style.
热带地区的景观植物
与全开放式的南亚亭院，以及
象征著泰式风貌的明快配色
被重新组织进这种院子里
It is our first attempt to designa Thai restaurant.
The unique courtyard-style restaurant
ought to show a SoutheastAsian character.
通过对传统泰国殖民装饰色彩的理解
以及气候对建筑需求的考量，在设计上
将一层大部分空间作出开敞式处理
使室内和室外的界限模糊，也把
户外阳光和空气带入室内
再搭配格栅木门的风情感
In order to reflect traditional Thai colors
and in lieu of climaticconsiderations, the aim
is to create an open space, which blurs
the boundarybetween indoors and outdoors
and paves way for breeze
and sunshine tocomplement the beauty of
our grille wooden door.
同时我们将传统的泰式吊扇
重新设计成一种缓慢转动的
艺术装置，悬吊在各个大小的厅里
At the same time, we have redesigned
the traditional Thai ceiling faninto a slowly
rotating artistic installation, which hangs in
the halls ofvarious sizes.
松弛的节奏，多彩的地砖，粉色的天花
如电影般的情景气氛，是一次
成都方式的东南亚热情与释放
Relaxed rhythm, colorful floor tiles, pink ceiling,
and a movie-likeatmosphere reflect
Chengdu’s passion for
Southeast Asian aesthetics.
