Z Lab is an interior design studio based in Seoul, South Korea, founded in 2014 by founders Noh Kyung Rok, Park Jung Hyun and Lee Sang Muk. The studio had to strike a balance between personal desire and regional universality in terms of design and regional identity. Z Lab would like to contribute to give a new experience for many people beyond the geographic boundaries based on the place and space. 作为建筑师，他们通过一个项目的改造改变了当地居民的生活气息，使其变得更现代化，就拿工作室多个项目来说，一座人们不再居住的老房子，一间长期封闭的旧学校，一处胡同里的不起眼的民宿以及一座古老街区里的逃离胜地等等。工作室将“治疗”作为主题，但他们不能提供直接的治疗服务，但可以试图为人们提供休息的舒适空间。“在做这类工作时，我们总是优先考虑当地身份。但这是只有我们能做的事情。”Noh Kyung Rok说。
