Golden Design is a Melbourne, Australia, interior Design studio founded in November 2013 by founders Kylie Dorotic and Alicia McKimm, formerly known as We Are Huntly. The studio's design Bridges the gap between architecture and visual art, creating a truly unique design. For the studio, beauty is not only found in a certain way of appearance, but in the way people live. Every aesthetic decision is based on design intent, creating a space that people want to enter, live and work in.
Brighton Residence

Golden Design created the Brighton Residence, an eponymous house in Melbourne's affluent coastal suburb of Brighton, by Belot Properties. Brighton Residence embodies a bold and confident spirit, while at the same time providing a private and secluded place for the curator. Complementation with the Seidler Group's architecture, Golden's interior design creates a suitable home for its intent, both as a confident display object and as a retreat object.

Brighton Residence symbolizes the luxurious interaction between architecture and people. Combined with bold and intimate gestures, the entire residence is designed as an ideal stage for entertainment, while also serving as a private and reclusive family home. While calm and contemplative, home is also a heroic expression that captures true spiritual contrasts.
Astrus House

With a brief defined by texture, the kitchen of Astrus House is anchored by a sculptural, monolithic island bench accommodating large family celebrations. Golden designed a residence with characteristic poetry, resulting in a forever home defined by multiple custom and bespoke elements.
Toorak Residence

Toorak Residence is a uniquely animated yet harmonious home. Set amongst the pedigreed buildings of one of Melbourne’s most prestigious suburbs, Golden worked closely with S&K Group to breathe new life into this previously renovated 1960s home. Tasked with delivering a captivating, visceral narrative with a limited spatial footprint, Golden has implemented carefully considered, impactful change to energise the home and encourage perpetual wonder.
